The
Fourth Workshop on the Economics of Information Security June 1-3, 2005 will be held on the campus of Harvard University's John F. Kennedy
School of Government.
Previous workshops accurately predicted the emergence of markets for
zombie computers and software vulnerabilities. Past sessions featuring
noted experts Dan Geer and Cambridge Professor Ross Anderson addressed
topics such as the optimal investment strategies for information security,
how to manage vulnerabilities, and security as strategy.
Ann Cavoukian, Ph.D., Information and Privacy Commissioner for Ontario,
Canada, will give the workshop’s keynote address on June 3.
